Day/Weekend Release
C Lane made this Official Information request to Department of Corrections
The request was partially successful.
From: C Lane
Dear Department of Corrections,
In regards to life sentenced inmates, that are yet to reach first parole. At what point, if any is he/she able to apply for day release or weekend release to spend with family/spouse/children? Is such thing possible before parole eligibility? If so, under what grounds? And how is an inmate to go about it?
Yours faithfully,
Moka Harris

Dear Info@Corrections,
Thankyou for your reply upon my information request, please clarify your online guidelines and also please allow me to gain the knowledge of any other grounds or reason for day/weekend releases. I wanted to know if inmates are allowed to also apply for these leaves, just to spend family time, no reason.
Yours sincerely,
Moka Harris
