Organ donor preference on driver licences March 2020
Mark Hanna made this Official Information request to New Zealand Transport Agency
The request was successful.
From: Mark Hanna
Tēnā koutou,
In March of 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019, I asked NZTA for information on the numbers of driver licences with and without a “DONOR” indicator, broken down per age group as in this publication on the NZTA website: https://www.nzta.govt.nz/resources/new-z...
As it is now March of 2020, I would like to request an update of this information.
My previous requests, including NZTA’s response, can be seen on the FYI website here:
https://fyi.org.nz/request/3719-organ-do...
https://fyi.org.nz/request/5493-organ-do...
https://fyi.org.nz/request/7351-organ-do...
https://fyi.org.nz/request/9732-organ-do...
I was very happy with how quick and thorough Dan Hozias’s response was to the request I made last March.
Please release the following information, broken down per age group as in previous years:
1. The numbers of driver licences with and without “DONOR” printed on them.
Please also explain any relevant caveats that should be kept in mind when analysing this information.
Please provide this information in an accessible, searchable format. A spreadsheet format, such as CSV or XLSX, is preferable for tabular data.
Ngā mihi,
Mark Hanna
