Dear Auckland Council,
 
I would like to request the camera footage on 25/11/2019 between 5pm-
7:30pm at the intersection of Ayr street Parnell road & Auckland Domain
Drive. I would like this traffic light camera footage as a man had
reversed into my vehicle whilst I was waiting at the red traffic light. He
will not admit to  reversing into my car as his fault so I must have proof
of the accident he caused on the traffic light camera footage thank you.

We are unable to provide you with the information you asked for
 

On 18 March 2020 you asked for CCTV footage of an accident at the Ayr
Street and Parnell Road intersection on 25 November 2019. I'm sorry to
hear about your accident.

Unfortunately, we don't have any CCTV footage as the cameras only retain
the footage for five to seven days before it is overwritten. We are
therefore refusing your request under section 17(e) of the Local
Government Official Information and Meetings Act as the footage doesn't
exist.

 

We understand that this isn’t the outcome you hoped for.
