Dear Auckland Transport,
I am writing to request CCTV footage at an intersection between Harris Rd & Ti Rakau Dr. The accident was on the Harris Road between 5:05 pm to 5:10 pm on the 20th of July 2020.

My vehicle is white Honda Elysion and was severely damaged.The other vehicle I think it was BMW3 stopped right after the accident but after a few second it ran away. I couldn't remember that car's registration number and also not sure what color it was. But I have the dash cam records so if you want to see it, please just tell me.
This footage would help me a lot as it will be proof shown what the other vehicle was. Shown to the police and Insurance company.

On 30/07/2020 you asked for CCTV footage of an incident.
The Auckland Transport Operations Centre have downloaded the camera
footage. Whilst we cannot guarantee the footage contains the information
you seek relating to the incident, it has nonetheless been saved. However,
Auckland Transport does not supply CCTV footage directly to members of the
public due to reasons of privacy. Available footage of a specific incident
or alleged crime will only be released to the New Zealand Police, upon
receipt of a request from them.
Please advise the New Zealand Police about the available footage relating
to reference number (CAS-189011-F6S0Z5), and to contact Auckland
Transport directly to arrange pick-up of the relevant footage.
Should you believe that we have not dealt with your request appropriately,
you are able to make a complaint to the Office of the Ombudsman in
accordance with section 27(3) of the LGOIMA Act and seek an investigation
and review in regard to this matter.
