Could you please outline whether your government and/or Parliament has considered and/or created plans or initiatives to institute a new dedicated digital/technology focused agency that ensures state sector agencies comply with the above documents, frameworks, guidelines, and standards via modernisation of these documents, and by carrying out independent and regular technology and information systems audits?
If so, could you please provide details as suitable?
If no such initiative is yet in place, could you please detail your personal viewpoint on the creation of such an agency?
For example, this agency could be named:
New Zealand Technology Agency; or
New Zealand Compliance Agency
