Selection of public service clean energy projects

Dear Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority,

Today the Minister for Climate Change announced six new public service clean energy projects which would reduce emissions by an estimated 15,000 tons. According to the press release on Scoop ("Clean Energy Future For More Public Services", Scoop, 15 July 2020) the funding for this is managed by EECA. I would like to request the following information under the OIA:

* how are these projects selected? What metrics are used to assess them?
* Is there a list of possible future projects? If so, I'd like a copy.

I would prefer to receive an electronic response. Queries about this request will be automatically forwarded to me by the fyi.org.nz website.

With regards to s12 of the OIA, I am an NZ citizen and in NZ.

Thank you for your OIA request dated 15 July in which you ask about the six projects recently announced under the clean-powered public service fund.

You ask:
