Hi Michael
We have attempted to find the data you have requested, but find that we do not hold the data in this format. The issue relates to the way our system records the status of each item - the initial status would show 'overvalue', but when the customer has chosen what needs to happen to the item (dispose /return), that status actually overwrites the 'overvalue' status, which is then no longer held in the system.
To answer your question would require all records for returned or disposed parcels being reviewed for their initial information (which is likely to (but may not) show the initial value recorded), either singly or by a constructed 'rule'. It would take considerable effort and time to search thousands of records to attempt to categorise those parcels that were rejected as being overvalue, and the final product is unlikely to be reliable or accurate.
Therefore, unfortunately our decision is that the information is not held by us.
You are entitled to complain to the Ombudsman about our decision at https://www.ombudsman.parliament.nz/what...
