Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment
Kia ora Jackson,
I am writing with regard to your OIA request dated 11 February 2021.
As your OIA request involves the release of Ministry documents, I have had
to consult with Glenorchy Air about the information that you have
requested. They have asked who has requested the OIA.
In order for the Ministry to provide your name as the requester you will
need to provide permission for us to do so. If you decline permission for
the Ministry to release your name to Glenorchy Air, their request will be
treated as an OIA, and your name will need to be released through the OIA
process.
Please let me know your preference, or give me a call if you have any
questions. If you could let me know as soon as possible before 4pm today,
that would be much appreciated.
With kind regards
Karen

Dear Karen McGregor,
Apologies I have only just seen this

Dear Jackson
My apologies for the delay in responding, I was out of the office yesterday afternoon.
Thank you for advising that you are withdrawing the your Official Information request. We will now close the case.
To clarify the release of a requestors name, it is not necessarily the case that the name would be released although there is a possibility if there is not sufficient grounds for it being withheld.
Kind regards
Karen
