From your previous answer to my queries I understand that the Pfizer Vaccine administration is being done somehow through Ministry For Business, Innovation and Employment, however also the safety and efficacy of the vaccine does fall under Medsafe, which in turn is run by Ministry of Health. Pharmac is apparently concerned with the selection of the providing company and the subsequent purchase of the vaccine. Am I correct so far? Do you have a more accurate description of the relationship between these agencies in regard to the COVD19 vaccine?
I do have some other questions that need clarification.
1. The testing and vaccination are medical procedures falling under the category of "health services". Is this correct or is there some different description you have for these procedures?
2. As "health services" anyone using these services effectively becomes and is "the patient". Correct?
3. Further, as the Tracing App and any locating methods currently used by NZ government to cover COVID19 pandemic control, such as vaccination passports, sign-in logs etc are part of a "health service", anyone using these services is also effectively becoming "the patient" as these are in place as a "health service" for New Zealand. Correct?
4. The Pfizer Vaccine is currently under trial, therefore is still experimental. Correct?
5. According to the Nuremberg Code, any person undergoing an experimental medical procedure must be informed it is experimental and have the freedom to not partake. What efforts have you made to fully inform the NZ public that this is indeed an experiment?
6.. According to the Health and Disability Commissioner and the Medical Council
"Whenever you use a health or disability service in New Zealand, you are protected by the Code of Health and Disability Services Consumers' Rights (Code of Rights)
The Code of Rights applies to both public and private facilities, and to both paid and unpaid services.". Therefore these rights apply. There are the rights:
"You must always be treated with respect.
You should never be discriminated against, or pressured into anything, or taken advantage of.
The services you receive should respect your dignity and independence.
You must be treated with reasonable care and skill and receive well coordinated services.
Service providers must listen to you and give you clear information that you can understand. If you don't understand, you must feel comfortable about asking questions. This may require the services of an interpreter.
Your treatment must be fully explained to you, including the benefits, risks, alternatives, and costs, and your questions must be answered honestly.
You must be able to make your own decisions about your treatment, and be free to change your mind.
You can (almost) always have a support person with you if you wish.
These rights also apply if you are asked to take part in research or teaching.
You have the right to make a notification and have it taken seriously."
What efforts have you and NZ Government made to inform the NZ Public of the risks of having a Pfizer Vaccine?
7. What efforts have you and NZ Government made to inform NZ public that the testing, the vaccination, the tracing and tracking devices employed by the NZ Government and it's agencies are indeed voluntary?
8. Any business partaking of tracking by way of sign-in forms, tracking apps etc is effectively partaking in a "health service". What efforts have you and NZ Government and it's agencies and entities made to ensure that these companies inform NZ public that their tracking devices and efforts are completely voluntary?
