Parent Category Visa - Sponsor Income
Mandy Thomson made this Official Information request to Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment
Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment did not have the information requested.
From: Mandy Thomson
Dear Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment,
In Labour's manifesto issued for the 2020 Election, one of the points outlined related to the Parent Category visa, and stated:
"Labour will reduce barriers to access the parent
category visa, including reconsidering the current
provisions once the international flow of people
across the border settles, and reducing the
income thresholds."
Please advise when the government expects to advise new income thresholds for sponsors?
Yours faithfully,
Mandy

Hi Andrew
Thank you for your response, however this does not answer my question at all. Do you have an approximate timeframe the govt will look into the requirements of this visa?
Yours sincerely,
Mandy
