Hi,

 

I am writing in reference to your request for information under Official
Information Act to the CAA through FYI website dated 1 March 2021. You
have specifically requested for –

DECISION

 

We have decided to grant your request. Please find attached the
information requested.

 

Kindly note that we are providing only the Date of Birth without the name
and the associated aerodrome information as releasing the same would be
contrary to the provisions of section 9 (2) (a) of the Official
Information Act – to protect the privacy of natural persons. Some
aerodromes have as few as one to two senior persons and thus could
potentially be easily identifiable.  

 

We do not consider in the circumstances of this particular case that the
public interest outweighs the need to withhold this information.

 

You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of
this decision. Information about how to make a complaint is available at
