Short commings of the Disputes Tribunal
Mary Phillips made this Official Information request to Kris Faafoi
Kris Faafoi did not have the information requested.
From: Mary Phillips
Dear Kris Faafoi,
Please explain to me why when I purchase a service from a GST registered Incorporated Society they are able to convince the Disputes Tribunal that they cannot hear my dispute and I need to go to the High Court and seek Judicial Revue. If I purchase a service from a GST Registered trader who is not incorporated with the Inc Society the Disputes Tribunal can hear my dispute.
Yours faithfully,
Mary Phillips

Dear Kris Faafoi,
Thank you for your reply, however if your employee is not able to find a document that clarifys my inquiry how would the referee in the Disputes Tribunal be able to rely on that decision?
Either it is valid or it isnt.
If it isnt valid then do something to put it right.
Yours faithfully,
Mary Phillips
