I would like to know what the legal definition of informed consent will be for the children in the age bracket 12-15yrs old in New Zealand.
Will you be assessing for Gillick Competence?
Will New Zealand follow Australia and create a new category of Mature Minor?
Or can you assure me Parents will still have to give parental consent for a child to be given a vaccine and that no vaccination will occur without parental consent?

We will just have to hope that they won't change the law. In some US states, including Washington, teenagers are now permitted to give consent to the Covid vaccine without their parents even knowing, let alone giving consent!

This is something that needs to be carefully watched as the WHO has the following interpretation for implied consent.

Page 3, section "An implied consent" process by which parents are informed of imminent vaccination
through social mobilization and communication, sometimes including letters directly addressed to
the parents. Subsequently, the physical presence of the child or adolescent, with or without an
accompanying parent at the vaccination session, is considered to imply consent. This practice is based
on the opt-out principle and parents who do not consent to vaccination are expected implicitly to
take steps to ensure that their child or adolescent does not participate in the vaccination session. This
may include not letting the child or adolescent attend school on a vaccination day, if vaccine delivery occurs through schools.
So this means the school just needs to inform the parent that vaccines will be administered on "x" day and if the parent lets the child attend the school on the vaccine day, the consent is implied.
As member nations of the UN are legally binded to follow the orders of the UN and its departments like the WHO I wouldn't be surprised if a NZ law change is made to align with this thinking. Of course the news today is the government is now after the 12-15 year olds!

Quite disturbing to learn about the following article concerning vaccination at school for 16+ years being able to consent for themselves after a district health board propagandist has gone into a school to brainwash children.

Whanganui District Health Board spokesperson Bruce Jones told First Up students over 16 were able to consent for themselves and they had provided education on informed consent.
If whānau did not want their students to be vaccinated at school, we've got a bit of a process where we can have a list of students that aren't to be vaccinated at school and we'll just make sure we honour their wishes that way.

Has anyone resubmitted this OIA request in light of recent developments?
"Consistent with the National Immunisation Schedule, IMAC recommends that a parent or guardian is present to provide verbal co-consent as best practice. Children are not eligible for the Pfizer vaccine in New Zealand. Vaccinators are informed of the following when doing their online education course:
“The safety and efficacy of the mRNA-CV in children and young adults ages less than 16 years of age have not yet been established. ...The vaccine is not currently approved for this age group...”
