Dear Auckland Transport,
I am looking for CCTV footage of the Dominion Road/at the corner of Milton road between the following times:
08:25- 08:35 on Tuesday 1st June 2021.
This is in regards to an accident that occurred on Dominion Road just before turning right to Milton Road. It may be possible that one of the vehicles was turning right to Milton Road after scratching our car which is white Volksvagen SUV and ran away. The car was a dark grey colour and possibly Mazda compact car. We would like the information for insurance purposes.
Yours faithfully,
Chloe Taihee Kim

Kia ora Chloe,
My name is Cameron and I’m a LGOIMA Business Partner at Auckland
Transport. I’m responsible for looking into the official information
request you made on 1/06/2021 for CCTV footage.
I am sorry to hear about the ‘hit and run’.
As your request is for information that is not available straight away, we
need to treat it as an official information request. This means that we
follow the rules of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings
Act 1987 (LGOIMA)
Update
I checked with our CCTV operations team and can confirm that the camera in
the area was pointing in another direction and did not capture the
incident.
Unfortunately, we are unable to help in this instance. I will close the
request under section 17(e) of the LGOIMA as the information does not
exist.
Please let me know if you would like to discuss this. If you need to
provide us with more information relevant to your request or you have any
questions, simply reply to this email leaving the subject line as it is.
We’ll make sure this information is added to your case.
