Psychiatrists on staff
K Roe (Account suspended) made this Official Information request to Auckland District Health Board
The request was refused by Auckland District Health Board.
From: K Roe (Account suspended)
Dear Auckland District Health Board,
I am requesting to be supplied with payroll information as to:
1) The names and registration numbers of all psychiatrists employed by the ADHB
2) The salary band and the FTE each of them is employed to work
3) The location of their employment (e.g., Grafton Hospital and / or Taylor Centre etc.)
I am wanting the information itemised such that a particular in 1 is in the same row as a particular in 2 is on the same row as a particular in 3.
For example:
E.g.,
Row 1: Herr FU Docktor, registration number FTW666. 1 million per year, 0.2 FTE. Grafton and Taylor.
Row 2: ...
Yours faithfully,
K Roe

Dear Auckland District Health Board,
I apologize for unintended ambiguity in my question.
I am wanting to know the state of things as at 7 September 2020. But I am not wedded, particularly, to that date. That is to say, if there was a pay-roll date prior to that (maybe end of August 2020) so it would be easier or more convenient to report on the number of employees for that date then that date would be suitable.
Yours faithfully,
K Roe

Dear Mr Roe
Re: Official Information Request – Payroll information on Psychiatrists
staff employed by ADHB
I am writing to acknowledge your official information request dated 5 June
2021.
We will endeavour to respond to your request as soon as possible and, in
any event, no later than 6 July 2021. We will contact you if an extension
is required.
Currently Auckland DHB and Auckland Regional Public Health Service are
receiving a number of COVID related Official Information Act requests, at
a time when the staff who would be able to inform a response are committed
to the national rollout of the COVID vaccine. This may mean that
responding to your request within the statutory 20 day period will be
compromised.
Please note that, like other DHBs across New Zealand, Auckland DHB has
adopted a model of proactive disclosure which sees OIA responses
publically available on our website approximately one month after they
have been released. If you believe that there are any special reasons why
proactive disclosure should not apply to our response to you, we will be
happy to consider this.
Kind regards
Priscilla

Dear Priscilla Philip (ADHB),
The Auckland District Health Board is a Public or Government entity. It is not a private hospital or a private hospital system or a private healthcare provider.
The people of New Zealand have a right to know that suitably qualified people are being employed to do jobs they are qualified for, for remuneration that is fair.
If people want the details of their remuneration and time-sheets to be private then people need to be working in the private (and not public) sector.
Yours sincerely,
K Roe

Dear Priscilla Philip (ADHB),
My concern is that I have accumulated reason to believe that there aren't any consultant psychiatrists on staff in the Auckland District Health Board.
Because people can't tell the difference between a 'social worker' and a 'consultant psychiatrist' or a student doctor giving someone who has been sectioned under the mental health act a belly-rub and a competent medical examination performed by a qualified medical doctor for clinically relevant reasons. People can't tell the difference between a cervical examination performed by a qualified medical doctor for clinically relevant reasons and being sexually molested by a gang of 'medical students' when they have been anesthetized for un-related procedures...
The first time I wasn't going to leave until I'd seen a psychiatrist I was tresspassed.
The second time I wasn't going to leave until I'd seen a psychiatrist I was going to be detained by the District Health Board indefinately. For... An infinity of billings, I can only suppose.
The CE of the ADHB is accountable for:
1) Publically advertise position vacancies
2) Supply applications to interested parties
3) Hire the most qualified and capable applicant for the position (not the one with the rape-y background who will fit in with predominant culture or some other nonsense
4) Arrange appropriate remuneration
5) Get rid of them if they aren't doing the job they are supposed to do.
What is it about New Zealand that our HIGHEST PAID government workers need someone to stand over them with a beat-y stick 'do your job! do your job! do your job! the job. the job for which you are paid!!! the job for which you are paid so much there's no money left to hire appropriately skilled and competent psychiatrists!! do your job!! do your job!!! do your job!!!'.
Or 'get out of it- -- ya mongrel!!!'
ffs
Yours sincerely,
K Roe
