“- Are horse meat products sold for pet consumption only in New Zealand?
- Is human consumption of horse meat legal in New Zealand?
- Is there any regulation in horse meat processing and how about the drug withholding period for the exported horse meat products (for human consumption)?

We would also like to request all relevant information on the human consumption of horse meat within New Zealand. Thank you!”
