Request for information - IR-01-21-22054

 

Thank you for your information request dated 15/07/2021. You requested:

 

"I would like to request a copy of the footage from the Eagle (Police
Helicopter) taken during the Pursuit and Firearms incident involving a
stolen BMW and carjacked vehicle that took place in the Ellerslie/Penrose
area on Thursday 15th July 2021.
I would like to request the footage for the entire duration of the
incident, from the time Eagle located the stolen BMW SUV, to the time that
Eagle left the scene of the shooting at Great South Road and South Eastern
Highway."

 

Your request has been considered in accordance with the Official
Information Act 1982 and your request has been declined for the following
reason:

 

·    S6(c) - To prejudice the maintenance of the law, including the
prevention, investigation, and detection of offences and the right to a
fair trial
