Why have you restricted Ivermectin?
Annie Weston made this Official Information request to Pharmaceutical Management Agency
The request was successful.
From: Annie Weston
Dear Pharmaceutical Management Agency,
I had a phone consultation at 3.57pm Vodafone time on Thu 26 Aug 2021 with my General Practitioner.
I asked him to please prescribe me Ivermectin as a prophylactic for Covid-19.
He said he could not prescribe me Ivermectin because it was restricted by Pharmac.
Please can you provide me with the scientific evidence and any corresponding back-up data you used in your decision to restrict this drug for the prevention and/or treatment of Covid-19 in New Zealand.
Please see below link for the FLCCC Alliance's review.

I reserve the right to use your response in a court of law.
Yours faithfully,
Annie Weston

Dear Rachel,
Thank you for your quick reply.
However I did not ask why you are not funding Ivermectin.
I asked why you have restricted its use for the prevention and/or treatment of Covid-19 ie: my doctor is specifically not permitted to prescribe it off label for Covid-19.
Please refer to below link for the scientific rationale that justifies the use of Ivermectin in the prevention and treatment of Covid-19.

Many thanks,
