Two Questions

The latest safety report completed by Medsafe #23 dated 7th August provides a total number of deaths reported as 26. This is up four from report #22 dated 31 July.

The reporting states that "15 of these deaths are unlikely related to the COVID-19 vaccine".

It then goes on to say

By chance, some people will experience new illnesses or die from a pre-existing condition shortly after vaccination, especially if they are elderly. Therefore, part of our review process includes comparing natural death rates to observed death rates following vaccination, to determine if there are any specific trends or patterns that might indicate a vaccine safety concern. There are currently no indications to suggest that the vaccine caused the deaths. To date, the observed number of deaths reported after vaccination is actually less than the expected number of deaths.

Can you please provide all the information/reporting that gives a number as to how many deaths are to be expected?

If Medsafe are ruling out that the vaccine did not contribute/cause the deaths of these cases it then calls into question how people dying from Covid-19 are being reported.

To date there are some 26 Deaths recorded from Covid-19 the virus yet by the Ministry of Health's data only 9 of these deaths did not have a pre existing condition. Surely only 9 of these should be recorded if pre-existing conditions are involved if we are to use the vaccine standard above?

Therefore it looks as if assessing the deaths following the vaccine given we are now at 26 this will be attributed to a new illness or pre-existing condition and written off yet if a person catches the virus and dies this will be recorded as a Covid-19 death.

Please provide documents that outline what is required to establish if the vaccine has caused the death?
