The reply is an acknowledgement, stating they have received the request and will answer within the 20 working days allowed for under the Act.

Again, I think you don't know how the system works. I am not the Medicines Classification Committee, I'm just a citizen such as yourself but if you are asking the question of me, my answer is yes.
As for the Committee, they have until 5 December to answer the question before they start running foul of the OIA.
