Dear Christchurch City Council,
I am interested to know if it is common practice to charge traffic management or similar costs to the organisers or organisations running protests in Christchurch. Examples are BLM, climate change protests, gender rights, and anti-vaccination mandates.
Please advise of all protests for which costs have been charged over the past two years, and also whether the costs of each have been recovered, cancelled, or remain outstanding.
