Dear Sir,
In a news letter from Canterbury Hockey it says that when the Christchurch City Council was made aware of the parlous financial situation it came to the aid of the Association and provided us with a loan. This has helped to ensure that the Association could continue to provide the hockey community with the expected services. Sir this would indicate that the council does hold records on Marc Duff's criminal history!! Please confirm what records are held by ccc??
But not only this sir surely council staff apply a risk analysis to any grant decisions to Greater Hornby Resisents Association because Marc Duff is the chair of this orginsation. At very least are aware of his criminal history involving stealing money from children!
Yours sincerely,
Maureen

Christchurch City Council
Dear Maureen,
As discussed we do not hold information on this. Council does follow a
robust process to recommend and allocate community grant funding. This
includes assessing the application and requiring a report back from the
recipient detailing how the grant was used for the agreed purpose.
Kind regards,
Sean
