Objectives of Behavioural Science
P Shaw made this Official Information request to Ministry of Health
The request was successful.
From: P Shaw
Dear Ministry of Health,
I would like to request a list of all of the objectives of all of the tasks given to the Ministry’s Evaluation and Behavioural Science team since its formation in mid-2021.
I realize you are planning to release some documentation, including results, toward the end of 2022, however I ask that you treat my request with urgency. I am aware that under s(12)(3) of the Act I am required to give justification for the added urgency of this request. To justify that urgency please consider the following: I am currently writing a report on this topic with a looming deadline and I anticipate that the results from this request will direct the course of my investigations toward further requests to other agencies, the accumulation of which would add significant time delays to the completion of my report.
I trust that the information I have requested is very straight forward, simple to collect, and not in such a great quantity as to require rejection under any other provisions of the Act.
I look forward to your response.
Yours faithfully,
P Shaw

Dear OIA Requests,
I am unable to ascertain from your reply to my request as to whether this request is being considered with urgency as I have requested. Your reply to this request appears to be a standardized response even though I have both stated and justified, as required under s(12)(3) of the Official Information Act 1982, that I would like this request to be treated with urgency.
Please advise as to whether your attention has been drawn to the urgency of this request?
Yours sincerely,
P Shaw
