Excellent seeing that someone else is holding State schools and their Boards of Trustees accountable in N.Z. I have been doing the same and am only starting on my quest to clean up the State schools education sector in N.Z. Frankly the statutes, guidelines, rules, policies, etc. are a "dog's breakfast". Why there isn't any requirement in any of these papers requiring publication of certain critical information - e.g. Board of Trustee meeting Minutes - is very unacceptable to me (as it seems to be with this information requester). Another bug-bear of mine is that State schools are not legally required to develop by-laws, policies, rules.
