Dear Daniel Martin,
The information provided does not fulfill the Official Information request made. You have stated that border workers were no longer mandated from 2 July 2022. The specific request I made was in relation to air border workers. Air border workers are covered by the Air Border Order that states " from 11.59pm, 20 June 2022, the health requirements that apply to New Zealand based aircrew and overseas-based aircrew are the same".
"Requirements on entry for Aircrew
...all aircrew members arriving in New Zealand by air must be vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to arrival in New Zealand."
Please provide the justification for the continuation for the air border worker mandate?
;;;
Yours sincerely,
M. Hullen
