Is a BROTHEL OPERATOR CERTIFCATE required?

Kevin made this Official Information request to Ministry of Justice

This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for Kevin to read recent responses and update the status.

From: Kevin

Dear Ministry of Justice,

I would like to request information and clarification about the BROTHEL OPERATOR CERTIFICATION.

I am running an escort agency that is purely online. This website connects escorts to clients, with prices, rates, and times all dictated by the escorts themselves.

The Escort solely advertises their services on the site, and dictates their own conditions of their work, when and where they will work, as well as how much they are paid.

However, as my website advertises this publicly, it may be classed as a supervising role to the above.

Under these conditions, do I need to apply for a BROTHEL OPERATOR CERTIFICATION?

Yours faithfully,
Kevin
