Thank you for your request under the Official Information Act 1982 for information about appointments to the New Zealand Council of Legal Education.
The Ministry of Justice was not involved in these appointments. Therefore, I am refusing your request under section 18(e) of the Act as the information requested does not exist.
While not subject to the Act, you may want to contact either the Council itself (nzcle.org.nz/index.html) or New Zealand Law Student's Association (vuwlss.com/nzlsa) for more information.
You have the right under section 28(3) of the Act to complain to the Ombudsman about the decision to extend the time for responding to your request. The Ombudsman may be contacted by emailing [email address]
