Please provide a copy of the application made by Council to join the '100 Resilient Cities Network', including all information regarding:

- the appointment and role description of the Chief Resilience Officer (incumbent or successor);
- the selection process for the appointment of said Officer;
- any agreement between Council and the Officer;
- any agreement between Council and the Rockefeller Foundation;
- financial support received by Council to hire an Officer;
- financing mechanisms to support investment in resilient infrastructure with the private sector;
- technical support for the Officer, including resources for implementing a resilience plan;
- assessments conducted using the City Resilience Framework;
- the inclusion of aboriginal tikanga advisors in consultation and decision-making processes.

Thank you for your below request made under the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 (the Act).

The Act requires that we advise you of our decision on your request no later than 20 working days after the day we received your request. Unfortunately, it will not be possible to meet that time limit and we are therefore writing to notify you of an extension of the time to make our decision, to 17 February 2023.

This extension is necessary because consultations necessary to make a decision on your request are such that a proper response cannot reasonably be made within the original time limit.
