Dear Ellie,
I refer to your request of 3 February 2023. As consultations necessary to
make a decision on the remainder of your request are such that a response
cannot reasonably be given within the original time limit, the University
has extended the time limit for your request under section 15A(1)(b) of
the OIA. The new maximum time limit for the University’s response is 13
March 2023; we will respond to your request as soon as reasonably
practicable. You have the right to make a complaint to an Ombudsman if you
are dissatisfied with this extension.
Yours sincerely,
Landon Watt

Dear Ellie,
I refer to your request of 3 February 2023. The information requested is
attached, subject to the following:
1. POPLHLTH 790 and POPLHLTH 790B do not have recorded marks in Canvas
and the requested median and mean course marks are not held by the
University – your request for these statistics is refused under
section 18(g) of the OIA.
2. Grade and mark information requested for courses with a low number of
enrolled students is withheld under section 9(2)(a) of the OIA, to
protect privacy.
3. Grades for S2 2022 POPLHLTH 790B are not yet available – as a
dissertation course, grades for POPLHLTH 790B are not available in the
same timeframe as grades for taught courses. This constitutes a
refusal under section 18(g) of the OIA.
You have the right to make a complaint to an Ombudsman if you are
dissatisfied with the University’s response.
Yours sincerely,
Landon Watt
