Numbers of people accessing hospital Accident and Emergency
M Leathart made this Official Information request to Ministry of Health
This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for M Leathart to read recent responses and update the status.
From: M Leathart
Dear Ministry of Health,
I have been hearing a lot about the long wait times etc at Accident and Emergency (A&E) departments in hospitals in New Zealand.
I am aware some of this is due to insufficient staff, as reported on the news.
What I would like to know is what are the figures for the last 5 years on the numbers of people turning up at A&E departments in the different health boards in New Zealand?
If you could do totals on a yearly basis that would be great.
Yours faithfully,
M Leathart
