The request was successful.
From: A KS
Dear Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment,
Thanks a lot for providing information under the following request.
https://fyi.org.nz/request/21945-questio...
Appendix one document (Section E) mentions the following on Page 29.
https://fyi.org.nz/request/21945/respons...
Guidelines have been developed for Medical Assessors to use when assessing some of these health
conditions including:
• Cardiovascular diseases
• Cochlear implants
• Diabetes
• Haemophilia
• Hepatitis B
• Hepatitis C
• HIV
• Non Tuberculous Mycobacterium
• Renal failure and dialysis treatment
• Syphilis, and
• TB.
There are also guidelines to help with assessing:
• an applicant who may have special education needs
• an applicant who may need full-time care
• urinalysis results
• blood test results, and
• chest X-rays.
Requesting the guidelines
Medical Assessors can request the guidelines in PDF format by emailing: [email address].
Question 1:-
For this OIA request, please provide the guidelines in PDF format for the following.
• Cardiovascular diseases
• Diabetes
• Hepatitis B
• Hepatitis C
• Renal failure and dialysis treatment
• urinalysis results
• blood test results, and
As mentioned above, your response to other EOI hints about the existence of such guidelines, which assessors can easily request; it would be great if you could share those guidelines but only for the conditions mentioned above. Please share the latest guidelines only.
Question 2:-
Appendix 1 mentions the following at several places
"Please refer to FIR 10.0".
However, in both appendix 1 and 2, I cannot find FIR 10.0.
I found that FIR is a further information request but is FIR 10.0 referring to a specific template numbered 10.0? Could you share the particular document having info for FIR 10.0 and explain more about it?
