Dear Maurice

 

Maiki Sherman has been on parental leave since December 2022.  In any
event any communications would have been in her role as Press Gallery
Chair, and are not held by TVNZ.  Therefore Section 18(e) of the Act
applies.

 

In accordance with Section 19(b) of the Act we advise that you have the
right to seek an investigation and review of the above refusal by making a
complaint under Section 28(3) to an Ombudsman.

 

Finally, we did not appreciate the choice of language in your sign off. 
 TVNZ takes this process seriously, and has an expectation that requestors
are respectful too.
