Citizenship Application - System Logic and improvement
EngNZ made this Official Information request to Department of Internal Affairs
Department of Internal Affairs did not have the information requested.
From: EngNZ
Dear Department of Internal Affairs,
Could you please elaborate on the system logic applied to the submitted application in order to clarify and understand the automated process?
In the event that an application does not pass the automatic check, why have the applicants not provided any feedback?
Providing applicants with the chance to update any missing documents or pictures that do not match the record when an application fails an automatic check can greatly improve their chances of success.
Regularly providing feedback and opportunities for improvement can significantly reduce the number of unsuccessful applications. As the DIA system logic runs weekly, applicants can take advantage of this by providing missing information and receiving feedback, ultimately increasing their chances of passing the automated system.
Processes are created for the purpose of convenience and efficiency. Over time, the system's logic should be improved as it encounters different scenarios.
Yours faithfully,
Engr
