Ministry of child and notifications made to the ministry
Diamond8nz made this Official Information request to Oranga Tamariki—Ministry for Children
This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for Diamond8nz to read recent responses and update the status.
From: Diamond8nz
Dear Oranga Tamariki—Ministry for Children,
I would like to know the procedure the ministry outlines for uplift of child.
I would like to know the procedure for the ministry’s to follow when receiving notifications via phone.
does the ministry call centre have trained social workers answering the phones gathering all the appropriate information regarding theses notifications? Or does a ministry of child trained social worker call back the person making the notification in the first place to gather the appropriate edvence required when handling notifications?
What sort of facts or edvence is gathered when a call centre person / social worker receives the notification?
and what evidence / proof is required for a notification to be taken seriously ?
I gather it’s goes by each individual circumstance of suitation and or whether a claim is being made whether there is concern child/s immediate wellbeing.
How many notifications each year turn out to be completely haresay or completely different from the true suitation once the ministry of child has made contact with the child / family that’s had the allegations made about them?
What are the numbers on the notifications a year , the secussful notifications ( where a child has truely needed help from the ministry) and the notifications that lead no where or miss represented notifications or the notification that where actually a lot worse of than ordinary have judged from the notification that had been given?
Yours faithfully,
Diamond8nz
