Guidelines around prosecution of Medicinal Cannabis users.

Shane Le Brun made this Official Information request to New Zealand Police

The request was refused by New Zealand Police.

From: Shane Le Brun

Dear New Zealand Police,

I would like to know if there is a framework or set of guidelines at either the National Level, or an independent set of rules managed regionally, about when to prosecute or not prosecute individuals claiming their Cannabis use and or possession is for medicinal purposes.

If there is such a framework or guidelines, either at the National level, or for any region(s) I would like a copy of the documents pertaining to this policy.

Yours faithfully,

Shane Le Brun
