Erika Whittome made this Official Information request to Oranga Tamariki—Ministry for Children
The request was successful.
From: Erika Whittome
Dear Oranga Tamariki—Ministry for Children,
I refer you to my previous OIA https://fyi.org.nz/request/20524-termina...
In this you said : 17 employees for non-compliance with the vaccination mandates / requirements (refusal to be vaccinated )
1. Have you hired all of these 17 staff back?
2. What budget was allocated for Covid 19 health and safety activities at Oranga Tamariki for the 2021/2022 financial year? For example Covid advisors, Covid risk specialist roles etc
3 What designations did Oranga Tamariki receive under section 191 of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 in order to act as a regulator for health and safety matters?
Yours faithfully,
Erika Whittome

Dear OIA_Requests (OT),
Thank you for your letter. This part should be regulator (not regular)
o What designations did Oranga Tamariki receive under section 191 of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 in order to act as a regulator for health and safety matters?
You will also see, of course, that section 191 of the health and safety at work act 2015 refers to regulators.
I look forward to your response
Yours sincerely,
Erika Whittome
