I refer to your request of November 28, 2023 for Information about
“Nitrates Testing Results”. Your request was referred to council’s Water
Services Department for consideration to your following questions:

 

o Please provide last results of nitrate testing (mg/L) of the public
water supply out to Parua Bay - The last result we have for Parua Bay
was 0.25 mgN/L.  This compares to the maximum acceptable value in the
drinking water standards of 11.3mgN/L

 

o If you don't have testing for the public water supplied out to Parua
Bay, then could I have the results of the last nitrate testing of the
public water (and could you tell me if there would be any reason to
believe Parua Bay would have different levels?) – Result supplied for
Parua Bay as requested
