MoH criteria for Special Authority application of stimulant medication

Cody C made this Official Information request to Ministry of Health

Ministry of Health did not have the information requested.

From: Cody C

Dear Ministry of Health,

Te Whatu Ora (formerly Canterbury DHB) advises patients that "Ministry of Health criteria for Special Authority application of stimulant medication requires a recent random urinary drug screen if stimulant medication is seen as the appropriate treatment."

Please provide these criteria in full. I was unable to locate it.

Yours faithfully,

Cody C

Kia ora,

The Ministry of Health believes the information you have requested is more
closely aligned with the functions of Te Whatu Ora – Health New Zealand.
For this reason, we consulted with Te Whatu Ora regarding the transfer
your request in full under section 14(b)(ii) of the Act. Te Whatu Ora has
informed us that they have also received a request from you for the same
information, therefore, a transfer is not necessary. You can expect a
reply from Te Whatu Ora in due course.

Ngâ mihi,
