Under the OIA 1982, I would like to request the number of messages for and against intervention in Palestine and Yemen/the Red Sea that you and your office have received in your capacity as Minister of Defence. This includes emails, physical mail and phone calls (both that have been noted in any registry and to the best of your staff's recollections).

This is acknowledgement of your email on the 25^th January 2024 in which
you submitted an Official Information Act request as follows:
“I would like to request the number of messages for and against
intervention in Palestine and Yemen/the Red Sea that you and your office
have received in your capacity as Minister of Defence. This includes
emails, physical mail and phone calls (both that have been noted in any
registry and to the best of your staff's recollections).”
We will endeavour to respond to your request as soon as possible and in
any event no later than the 21^st February 2024, being 20 working days
after the day your request was received. If we are unable to respond to
your request by then, we will notify you of an extension of that
timeframe.
We will contact you if we require further information to clarify, or to
enable us to process, your request. If any additional factors come to
light which are relevant to your request, please let us know so that these
can be taken into account.
