Apologies for the delay in responding to you. Thank you for your request of 17 February wherein you requested, pursuant to the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act), the following information:
I would like to make a follow-up request for the number of emails and physical mail you have received from the public (including NGOs, community organisations and individuals) to date in your capacity as Minister of Defence relating to New Zealand's intervention in Palestine and Yemen/the Red Sea. Please provide separate numbers for the total amount in favour for and against such intervention.
I do not systematically record the information pertaining to support for or against any such intervention as you outlined above. Therefore, your request is declined pursuant to section 18(g)(i) of the Act as the information requested is not held.
Under section 28(3) of the Act, you have the right to request the Ombudsman investigate and review this response.
