Online campaign against the Taihape police

Mike Davis made this Official Information request to Christopher Luxon

This request has been reported as needing administrator attention (perhaps because it is vexatious, or a request for personal information)

From: Mike Davis

Dear Christopher Luxon,

We are seeking information regarding the online complaint and campaign about the Taihape police being corrupt that we just read online. It involves Harry Hughes, Constable manvir, Liam Robinson and Jack leasi of the Taihape police.

If what I have read is true the New Zealand police need to fire those officers. In the allegations of The corruption are quite serious it's something needs to be done about this.

I've read the documentation and the story and it's 100% true all four police officers involve from Taihape a lying in official Court documents and police disclosures so I would like information regarding this in an explanation to what the hell's going on in taihape

Yours faithfully,

Mike Davis

On behalf of the Minister of Police, I acknowledge your OIA request of 25
May 2024, seeking:

In our view, it would have been necessary under section 14 of the OIA to
transfer your request to NZ Police because the information you requested
is more closely connected with the functions of NZ Police. However, we are
aware that you have already made your request to NZ Police, and therefore
we have not transferred it. We do not hold any additional relevant
information that is not already held by NZ Police. You have the right to
complain to the Ombudsman about this decision. Relevant information about
how to make a complaint is available at [1]www.ombudsman.parliament.nz or
freephone 0800 802 602.

You can expect to hear directly from Police regarding your request.
