A copy of "trends and insights report" , Full analysis of vaccine effectiveness 2021

Erika Whittome made this Official Information request to Ministry of Health

Response to this request is long overdue. By law Ministry of Health should have responded by now (details and exceptions). The requester can complain to the Ombudsman.

From: Erika Whittome

Dear Ministry of Health,

I am after a copy of a report that is mentioned in the "Science and Insights" publication " with the title
"Covid-19 Delta Variant Secondary attack rates August-October 2021", "IT-4" dated 19 October 2021.

This report is also published here : https://nzdsos.com/wp-content/uploads/20...
( Dr George Ian Town submitted the report to the Court on 4 May 2022).

This 19 Oct 2021 report measures transmission rates using data from the covid tracer app with data up to 11 Oct 2021 (The National Contact Tracing Solution (NCTS) cohort).

Page 1 of this report says...
"A full analysis of vaccine effectiveness is to follow, which will account for setting and vaccination status for both index cases and their contacts."

I am unable to locate this "vaccine effectiveness" report on your website. Would you kindly share a copy of this 2021 "vaccine effectiveness" report which uses the data from The National Contact Tracing Solution (NCTS)?

This report may be held at data-enquiries at health.govt.nz, but I though an OIA would be more transparent for public interest.

Yours faithfully,

Erika Whittome
