Dear Kāinga Ora–Homes and Communities,

How many individual contracts and consulting engagements have been awarded
directly to RCP Limited and JOHNSTAFF PROJECTS (NZ) PTY LIMITED, including
those providing professional services through the company or through
individual employee contracts from January 1, 2019, to 15 July, 2024?

For each engagement, please provide the following details:

Type of service generally provided by the consultant or contractor
Details of the specific consultancy or contract
Budgeted vs final actual cost
Maximum hourly and daily rates charged
Date of the contract
Date the work commenced
Completion date
Whether tenders were invited; or if the company has been engaged directly.

For each contract engagement, please outline subcontractors noted within
the contract.

I have kept this request focused on 2 companies, so I do not expect this
to be rejected under section 18(f) of the Act

The OIA requires that we advise you of our decision on your request no
later than 20 working days after the day we received your request.
Unfortunately, it will not be possible to meet that time limit and we are
therefore writing to notify you of an extension of the time to make our
decision, to 11 September 2024.

This extension is necessary because your request is for a large quantity
of information and consultations necessary to make a decision on your
request are such that a proper response cannot reasonably be made within
the original time limit.

You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of
this decision. Information about how to make a complaint is available at:
