SSAG Phase 1 Report

Troy Baisden made this Official Information request to Judith Collins

The request was partially successful.

From: Troy Baisden

Dear Hon Judith Collins,

In your role as Minister of Science, Innovation and Technology you commissioned the Strategic Science Advisory Group (SSAG) via terms of reference which set 30 June as the date for delivery of the Phase 1 report. Much depends on the recommendations, which appear to be delayed. We therefore seek from your office and the ministry:

1) Any copies of final or draft Phase 1 Report(s) from SSAG delivered to your office or the Ministry.

2) Any summaries of the report findings or recommendations prepared by the SSAG, your office or officials.

3) Correspondence between the minister or officials with the SSAG chair or directorate that discusses delayed timeframes, reasons for delays, or challenges that may cause delays in the report or implementation of recommendations.

Nāku noa, nā
Troy Baisden
Co-President New Zealand Association of Scientists
