From: Ohakune Ratepayers and Residents' Society Inc
Dear Ruapehu District Council,
A recent Ruapehu Bulletin release (https://cdn.prod.website-files.com/5fd3d...) stated "Gilbert has previously said it would be offered as a lease arrangement".
1./ What is the budgeted or forecast or expected lease costs p/a to council for the land?
2./ Under what terms (duration) will council be provided the land, please provide supporting documents
3./ What protections are in place or will be in place to ensure council doesn't commit this spend and then in the future the cost of lease become unfeasible, resulting in the loss of the asset which is currently estimated to cost $7-10m.
4./ What process or timeline does council have to start consent & building
5./ What funding has council secured thus far for the project and what guarantees are there that funding will not be withdrawn
6./ In the project scope, is it documented that the project will not start until all funding is secured, please provide supporting documents.
Yours faithfully,
Ohakune Ratepayers and Residents' Society Inc
