Zealandia. I am reaching out on their behalf to provide you with a
decision on this request and update.

 

The Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act requires that
we advise you of our decision on your request no later than 20 working
days after the day we received your request.

Wellington City Council has partly granted your request for information.
Where redactions are necessary or information withheld, a reason and
appropriate grounds under the [1]Act will be provided.

 

However, a little more time is required to finalise the response. I
anticipate a response to be sent to you by 30 October, if not sooner.

 

Right of review

If you are not satisfied with the Council’s response, you may request the
Office of the Ombudsman to investigate the Council’s decision. Further

What steps is Zealandia taking to prepare for bird flu/avian influenza?

If they exist, please provide any internal documents, meeting minutes, or
research Zealandia has discussing bird flu and potential actions the
ecosanctuary could take to protect its fauna.
