I am aware the Department of Conservation have sent you some 'status updates' on avian influenza. As such, I request these status updates, alongside any further advice or information your office has received regarding avian influenza.
I would also like to know what implications avian influenza could/is having on Aotearoa's trade.

Heard back from Minister McClay's office today, and was told that a new response is being finalised, and is expected to be released tommorow. I asked his office to respond to the FYI email to ensure it gets published here.

I am surprised by the refusal of DoC's status updates under 18(e), as previous DoC documents obtained under the act mentioned sending him status updates. I've contacted Minister McClay via email so I could send him copies of the documents I mean to get further clarification.
