Number of Students who failed to complete degree

Andre Knops made this Official Information request to University of Canterbury

The request was partially successful.

From: Andre Knops

Dear University of Canterbury,

I have four questions.

1) I wish to know the number of students who "dropped out" of university. That is the number of enrolled students who stopped coming to the University of Canterbury but did not transfer their degree to another institution over the past 5 years. If you are able to break this down into year levels (100's, 200's etc) that would be good

2) In reference to the request by Liam Stonely about parking at UC. I wish to know how many parking permits, broken down into the 4 categories of staff and student semester only and full year, have been issued over the past 5 years and whether this is an increase or decrease.

3) As of June 1 2015 how many students were enrolled in each school/department at UC (eg. Law, commerce, Arts, Engineering etc). If you are able to would you also be able to advise the number of people in double degree programs so the figures aren't inflated.

4) What is the ethnic breakdown of students enrolled at UC

Yours faithfully,

Andre Knops
