NZ Police Operational Fleet
Anon made this Official Information request to New Zealand Police
This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for Anon to read recent responses and update the status.
From: Anon
Dear New Zealand Police,
I would like a breakdown of each vehicle in the NZ Police used in an operational context. For each model I would like the quantity and which unit/teams they are used for.
Eg.
Skoda Superb Wagon 162KW 2WD:
Total: 900
Public Safety Teams: 400
Road Policing: 200
Dog Units: 30
Community Policing: 20
Criminal Investigations Branch: 100
And so on and on…, and then the next vehicle Etc.
That is just a rough idea of what I am requesting. A previous request made showed the Police Vehicle Inventory as of 21 January 2022, however that is now outdated, and it didn’t show the use for each specific vehicle model, rather it only showed the quantity of vehicles in each team/unit per brand of vehicle.
I also request the total number of marked vehicles and unmarked vehicles in the Operational NZ Police Fleet.
Yours faithfully
