I am requesting information on student performance in the following papers, for the year 2024.

Semester 1, 2024:
BIOSCI 204
EARTHSCI 220
EARTHSCI 202
EARTHSCI 203
LAW131
LAW141

For the 6 papers listed above, please provide the following data for the year 2023:

(1) The final grade distribution for the paper (broken down by letter grade, e.g. A+, A, A-, ... etc.)
(2) The mean and median final marks for the paper (numerical)
(3) The number of students who completed the paper

I am requesting information on student performance in the following

For the 6 papers listed above, please provide the following data for the
year 2023:

 

(1) The final grade distribution for the paper (broken down by letter
grade, e.g. A+, A, A-, ... etc.)

(2) The mean and median final marks for the paper (numerical)

(3) The number of students who completed the paper

 

The University does not hold final mark statistics. Grades, not marks, are
the University's final measure of academic assessment. Marks are used for
initial calculation of grades (see

but grades may be subsequently changed for various reasons, such as
aegrotat/compassionate consideration or academic misconduct.

 

This constitutes a partial refusal of your request under section 18(g) of
the OIA.

 

The grade distribution information you have requested is refused under s
18(d) of the of the Act, as the information requested is publicly
available.
